[edit] Dedicated IPs

In order for an SSL Certificate to function, a dedicated IP address is required.

[edit] Obtain an SSL Certificate

[edit] Alternative

  • Network Redux also offers a Managed SSL Bundle consisting of the Dedicated IP Address, SSL Certificate and Setup/Installation.

[edit] Installation

  • In the SSL/TLS menu > Install a SSL Certificate and Setup the Domain.

  • If you are a reseller and this option is not available to you, please contact support as it can be enabled.

In the first box, you will need to paste contents of your Primary Certificate (yourdomain.crt) that you downloaded from the source of the SSL Certificate. To access the text version of your certificate, open it with a text editor. When copying and pasting your certificate, include the BEGIN and END tags.

Fill in the required Domain / User / IP address information. The domain and IP address may fill in automatically. Type your cPanel username in the User field.

In the middle box, you will need to paste the correct RSA private key that was generated with the CSR. This private key should have been sent to your email address when you generated your CSR. The private key may fill in automatically if the server recognizes your certificate.

In the bottom box, you will need to paste the contents of the Intermediate Certificate (.crt file)

Image:Apply2.png Press the Do it button.

  • If your Do it button is not active, try clicking the Fetch button for the private key only. This will activate the Do it button.
  • Image:Dialog-error.png Do not click the fetch button that corresponds to the Certificate itself. If you do this, the certificate will be replaced with an invalid self-signed certificate.

At this point, if you require Network Redux to setup and install your certificate for you, please submit a support ticket. A twenty-five dollar USD fee is assessed for this service.
